Since the release of ‘The Distance Between Us’, I have been writing non-stop. I am working on a concept album, of sorts. It is about a series of events that happened to me me over the last year and a half. As of this writing, the album is called ‘The History of My Decline’ and will feature 18 songs. I am about 14 songs into it already. The sound of these new songs is very different than my previous work and I am really excited about it. I am unsure of how I will release it though. Originally, I planned to release one song per month until I had released the first 5 songs, which I would collect in an EP, representing Side One of the album…and so on…eventually releasing 4 EPs, which would be collected as a whole album.
The reason for the staggered release schedule was to keep me focused and creating, figuring I would be working at my usual snails pace. However, that is not the case. I have been writing up a storm.
I will update here in the future as to what is happening with the release and when you can expect the first song to appear on Soundcloud.
